Pastor Gunkel is a Marine Corps veteran who served his country before answering a different call.

He and his wife Allison spent 7 years as missionaries in Brazil, planting the gospel in communities far from home.

With 24 years of pastoral ministry behind him, Pastor Gunkel leads The Potter's House Stafford with a heart for people who need hope.

Married 31 years, with two children.
